Tia, Chloe & Maddy spent 18 days in New Delhi on a fully funded trip to Manav Rachna Educational Institutions. Here they were able to gain practical experience working with children in schools and nurseries whilst also fully immersing themselves in the rich and exciting culture that surrounded them.

My role would not be a leader but instead I would bring invitations, questions and resources to the children which could expand their horizon in this space. I would balance the importance of allowing the woods to be heard and felt, lean into my experience to offer and support when needed and the children would lead which way it would go.

Our animals are a big part of life at Little Acorns and spending time with them in our rural setting provides a wonderful respite from the modern world. Here children can run free, play on the climbing equipment, feed and pet the animals, grow and harvest fruit and veg, enjoy camp fires and forage for ingredients to use in the mud kitchen.
